REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
To achieve our goal of allowing more children the opportunity to play lacrosse, the SYLA Board of Directors has developed a Financial Aid program. This ensures that any child, regardless of financial situation, will have the opportunity to play lacrosse.
The SYLA Lacrosse Financial Program details are the following:
- For ALL Summer Programs: SYLA will reduce fees by 50% of the full cost of the registration fee, (including the Travel fee when applicable), if the player is a recipient of a free or reduced school lunch.
Steps to applying for Financial Aid: Parents requesting financial aid for the program should:
- Complete this registration
- attach the verification letter from the school stating that you qualify for free and/or reduced school lunch.
- In 2-3 days, you will receive a code to use during checkout of the online registration, in which you’ll enter the received code.
The following not covered by financial aid:
- A $700 check that will only be deposited if parents do not fulfill their 6-8 hours of required volunteer hours (hours will be finalized as we get closer to the beginning of the season)
- The $75 fundraising fee is not covered as part of this discount
